About the Role:

To provide support, leadership, encouragement, and direction for team members. To ensure goods received on site for Production, are received, processed, booked in (LES & SAP), located, routed correctly (including sequencing operations) and delivered at the right time to the correct delivery location in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the LES and SAP transactional discipline is robust, and the systems stock accurately reflects the actual stock held.
  • Ensuring that the internal & external supply loops are maintained, in conjunction with our external Distribution Centres (DC) and 3PL partners.
  • Supporting and encouraging the team, to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Providing an effective handover to other teams.
  • Organising absence cover for team tasks.
  • Deputising for the Supervisor in their absence.
  • Reporting personnel issues to the Supervisor / Manager.
  • Ensuring the team are working within Health and Safety Guidelines.
  • Planning job rotation to encourage individual and team flexibility.
  • Ensuring goods are received, booked in, and routed correctly.
  • Managing LES and SAP transactions.
  • Moving material within the WH and factories.
  • Accurately locating materials in appropriate storage or on-line locations.
  • Completing the safe operation of all MHE.
  • Maintaining LES, with respect to stock quantity and locations accuracy.
  • Issuing material from WH.
  • Building and distribution of sequenced car kits.
  • Supporting the handover of new layout and IT system improvements.
  • Working within Safety Guidelines (including the movement of Dangerous Goods).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
  • Organised, flexible & excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player, right first time pro-active approach & excellent communicator.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Previous experience of working within a material handling role within a manufacturing/stores\' environment.
