Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join our team at our store in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations while reflecting our Stock Shop vision and goals.
You will coach and inspire your team to outperform their targets and ensure exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience for our clients.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, energetic and ambitious. You will be hands on, getting stuck into all aspects of the business. You will be naturally positive and genuinely enthusiastic about what you do.
Responsibilities
Manage daily store operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance, always leading by example.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor sales performance and maximise store profitability by promoting sales within the store, implement strategies for improvement.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
Commercial awareness.
Previous experience of working in the retail sector.
High level of verbal skills and written communication.
Excellent leadership credentials.
Self-discipline to work within guidelines and follow procedures.
The ability to engage and motivate staff through leading by example
Working hours - part time, 15 hours per week, specific days to be discussed. Flexibility will be required to help cover absence and holidays, which includes weekend work.
