Role: Team Leader - Residential Childcare

Northridge Care Group provides high-quality residential care for children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. We're seeking a Team Leader who is passionate about shaping futures, leading by example, and supporting both staff and young people to thrive.

Salary: 34,778.40 - 35,797.60 (This includes an average of 12 sleep-ins per month).

Hours: 39.2 hours per week.

Rota Pattern: 5-week rolling rota. 2 days on shift and 3 days off pattern.

55 paid per sleep-in carried out.

Annual Leave: 28 days annual leave as standard. This rises by an additional day for every year of service up to 5 years.

In this role, you'll:

Lead and support a dedicated care team, ensuring the highest standards of practice. Act as a role model and mentor, supervising staff and guiding their development. Be a key worker for young people, championing their voices, safeguarding their welfare, and empowering them to reach their potential. Contribute to care planning, audits, and compliance to maintain Ofsted standards. Work hands-on to create a safe, nurturing and structured environment where young people can grow.
What we're looking for:

NVQ Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent/working towards) Residential childcare experience, including supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Experience supervising or leading staff teams in a care environment. Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to young people's rights and development.
