Duties
Lead and supervise a team of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and stock rotation
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance
Coordinate with other departments such as front-of-house or bar services to deliver seamless customer experiences
Monitor service delivery, address customer concerns promptly, and uphold excellent hospitality standards
Assist in organising staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and optimise workflow efficiency
Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Familiarity with food safety protocols and standards in a commercial kitchen environment
Experience in team management or leadership roles within the hospitality industry
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
Previous roles involving serving or barista experience are advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service and safety
