Team Leader (track, Off Track, Over Headline) Watford / Stonebridge Park

Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Job Description

The West Coast South route stretches from south of Crewe to London Euston, including major towns and cities on the southern section of the West Coast main line. It is a key part of Anglo-Scottish journeys between London, Glasgow and Edinburgh via the West Midlands and North West, as well as providing commuter links direct to the capital through Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

It is the busiest mixed-use railway in Europe serving over 71 million people each year. It helps connect many of the major British cities outside of London and is served by Euston station, the sixth busiest in Britain.

\xe2\x80\x8bWith passenger demand forecast to grow by 12% and freight by 18% by 2024, the West Coast main line South route is home to several of Britain\'s most significant investment infrastructure projects. These include East West Rail which will connect Oxford with Cambridge, and HS2, a new railway connecting London with Birmingham and the North of England. All of these are vital to Britain\'s economy.

For us, \'Diversity\' means recognising differences between people while valuing the contribution they make. \'Inclusion\' means creating safe and welcoming workplaces with fair cultures that encourages innovative and fresh ways of thinking.

We value the commitments you may have outside of work and will consider flexible and hybrid working applications. If we can make it work - we will! .
