Alabare are looking to recruit a Full - time Team Leader for our Veterans Service covering 2 properties in Swansea. You will supervise and co-ordinate the work of the Support pathway for Veterans (Main Supported Home, Move On Home & Outreach Befriending Service) to ensure compliance with the requirements of the funder(s). In particular to act as the primary point of contact/referral for the project(s), co-ordinating allocations and Support Plan reviews and providing supervision for the support staff and volunteers to facilitate a co-ordinated approach on a day to day basis.

Job Specifics:



Full time Annual salary 29,289.00 rising to 30,927.00 after a probation period. Hourly rate of 15.02 rising to 15.86 after probation. Flexible rota Monday to Friday to meet the needs of the service.

In return for this, we are looking for someone who has:



Relevant qualification or be committed to personal development through training. Experience of working in the supported housing sector including housing management. Understanding of current thinking in good practice in supporting people with complex and change needs. Understanding of Health and Safety, Fire and other statutory legislation. Experience of the key working system. Understanding of needs & risk assessment and the support planning process. Experience of effective supervision, support and development of staff. Experience of recruitment and selection of staff. Be approachable , resilient and have a sense of humour. Experience of managing own professional boundaries and confidentiality Knowledge of the welfare benefits system. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and crisis manage. Good admin and IT skills including databases. Be organised with good communication and written skills. You must be currently resident in the UK. You must have the right to work in the UK. You must be confident working as part of a team and on your own. Car driver essential with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.
