We are looking for a Team Leader to join our grounds maintenance team. This will include running a team of two or three gardeners. Sticking to allocated times on site and mainting high standards of work. A keen eye for detail and abilty to solve problems if they occur is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
General grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, weed spraying, turning flowers beds, dead heading, general plant care, use of ladders, litter picking.
Operating a variety of landscaping equipment and tools.
Ensuring gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas are kept in top condition.
Reporting and communicating any issues related to grounds maintenance, including damage to plants, trees, fencing, drains, hard standing areas e.g trip hazards.
Assisting with soft landscaping projects including turfing, planting trees, shrubs and flowers, fencing, graveling, slabbing and tree work as required.
Adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements:
Driving Licence (25 years and over).
Experience in running a team in grounds maintenance/gardening work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit, as the role requires working outdoors in all weathers and manual labour.
Full (CLEAN) UK driving licence required.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Additional experience; advantageous but not essential:
Knowledge of quoting jobs
Experience towing trailers
CS30
CS38
PA1 and PA6 spraying certificate.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
