We are looking for an experienced team leader to work with our team of support workers, to help ensure that all children in our home are nurtured and safe to develop their independent living skills to adulthood. The successful candidate for this position should have assertive compassionate leadership style, keen administrative skills and preferably a background in supported living for unaccompanied asylum-seeking persons (USAC). Successful candidate must be a highly motivated team player who can work independently as well as with the rest of our staff. Qualities of the successful candidate we would expect to see would be but not limited to :
Spoken fluent English

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the line manager for the service
Liaise with the provider and Manager ensuring all necessary reports are sent timeously
Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive management culture
Oversee the implementation of the service's policies and procedures
To provide leadership to all those involved within the service.
To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider.
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
Induct new starters in accordance with company policy
Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals
working alternate weekends
Successful candidate must have proficient skills in using Microsoft Office suite to perform daily tasks and a solid foundation in computer basics.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
