We are currently recruiting for a Team manager in one of the Assessment Teams for Doncaster Children's Services based in the South of Doncaster.
This is a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing improvements in practice required to support the service delivered to children and their families in Doncaster. The role requires someone who is experienced in supervising and/or mentoring staff.
As a Team Manager, you will work closely with the other team managers across all of Children's services and advanced practitioners within all locality teams as well as across Doncaster Children's Services to embed good and outstanding practice for the children and young people who reside in Doncaster.
We are an Assessment team that are incredibly supportive and understand the pressures and demands when working in social care. We have regular team meetings, and our aim is to offer our children and families a quality service by ensuring our practice standards are high when completing assessments and interventions for children and young people. We aim to support children, young people and families in being signposted to support and intervention at the earliest juncture.
Training is provided for all managers and new members joining the team alongside monthly supervision and Personal Development Plans. We aim to support the Continuing Professional Development of all staff within the Council.
