Hours of work: 36 hours per week

service, you'll play a leading role in making that happen.


The Role



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Team Manager

to lead one of our frontline social work teams delivering vital child protection and court work services.


This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll guide a team of skilled social workers managing complex child protection cases and care proceedings. You'll ensure high-quality assessments, robust care planning and timely interventions that safeguard children and promote their welfare.


You'll be responsible for supervision, performance management and supporting professional growth, creating an environment where staff feel valued, supported and inspired to deliver their best work.


Working closely with partners across health, education, police and legal services, you'll help build a culture of collaboration and professional excellence -- always keeping children at the heart of what we do.

The Person



You'll be a qualified and registered Social Worker (Degree or Diploma in Social Work or equivalent) with substantial experience in child protection and court proceedings.


You'll bring proven management experience -- confident in supervision, performance oversight and service improvement.


You'll have the resilience, professional judgement and leadership skills to navigate challenging situations, while supporting your team to do the same.


If you're passionate about safeguarding, confident in the courtroom, and ready to lead from the front -- we want to hear from you.


A management qualification or training in systemic supervision or Signs of Safety would be an advantage.
