Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Herefordshire to assist with the appointment of a Team Manager, on a 3.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 28.30 - 37.80 per hour
Summary:
As a Team Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring services are person-centred, strength-based, and effectively manage risk. You will also support the Councils wider vision of helping adults live independently, stay connected to their communities, and lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a locality team delivering adult social care services.
• Champion a strength-based, person-centred approach to practice and ensure it is embedded in all decision-making.
• Influence and drive cultural and operational change across the adult social care system.
• Develop and implement service strategies that promote independence, safeguard wellbeing, and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, partner agencies, and communities to co-produce and deliver high-quality, value-for-money services.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Demonstrable experience in statutory adult social work, including working with complex cases.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role, or readiness to step into management based on extensive frontline practice.
• Proven ability to develop and lead teams, manage change, and implement innovative service delivery approaches.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding procedures, and relevant social care policies.

• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires a Basic DBS
