Job Description

We're looking for a Team Manager - Insurance Administration to join us in Bradford.
We're seeking a passionate and driven manager to join our dynamic Insurance Claims Administration team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the service delivery of the administration activities associated with processing mobile insurance claims from customers for accidental damage, loss, theft or mechanical/electrical failures. You will also be responsible for the complaints function that supports the service and provides consumers with a fair and unbiased review of complaint matters. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our thriving company. Prior claims administration experience is preferred, but not essential.
What will you be doing?Service delivery of the administration department including complaints Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and customer satisfaction metrics. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of device insurance administrators and complaints handlers to achieve high performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training to enhance team capabilities. Take lead on recruitment and onboarding of new employees Provide insights and reports to senior management and key stakeholders regarding performance and areas for improvement. Analyse trends and root causes of complaints to drive proactive solutions and improvements

We tend to look for people with:Previous experience in people management is essential Previous experience managing a complaints function is desirable Experience working within an insurance claims administration environment is preferred but not essential Knowledge of device insurance policies, claims processes, and complaint resolution best practices is preferred Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Experience of analysing data and reporting to identify trends and improvements Excellent organisation and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and high level of accuracy A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to focus on the highest standards of implementation and delivery Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
