The post holder will provide leadership, setting an exceptional standard for the store and inspiring the team to achieve it. You will own the customer experience, driving customer satisfaction and increasing brand loyalty through driving performance and growth through excellent operational and commercial execution.

The Team Manager will provide leadership, setting an exceptional standard for the store and inspiring the team to achieve it. S/he will own the customer experience, driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Assisting in recruitment /induction and training/development of employees in line with the company's training requirements

Creating and managing the staff schedule

Checking in deliveries, order matching and daily banking

Prepare required paperwork concerning stock and sales. Prepare employee pay and timesheets

Manage cash balances and minimise wastage

Ensure 100% compliance following company's and council guidelines

Perform inventory management and stock control including weekly stock-taking and reports

Analyse the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report to improve the business

Direct and undertake housekeeping activities such as maintaining store cleanliness and presentation

Implement in-store marketing material in line with campaigns

Ensure safety procedures are followed to prevent injury

Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers

Promote and encourage a high level of customer service among employees

Handle unresolved and/or escalated customer complaints

Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales, enquiries and catering for customer needs.

Required qualifications and skills



The ideal candidate should have a graduation degree with significant experience

or

A level (or equivalent qualification) with 3-4 years of experience, preferably in the relevant sector. The post holder shall have the ability to network, recruit, train, develop and assess talent, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of retail staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Train and mentor employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee the visual merchandising of products to maximize sales potential
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize store operations

Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in multiple languages being a plus
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication standards
