Your role and responsibilities
Based at Riverside, Lowestoft, you'll lead a dynamic team that supports adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives.
In this role, you will:
lead and inspire a team of committed social care professionals
champion a culture of continuous learning and development
ensure statutory duties are met under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983 (2007)
collaborate with partners across health, advocacy, and community services
drive innovation and explore digital solutions to enhance service delivery

You will need
We hope you'll bring:
a recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
experience in Learning Disability and Autism services and multi-agency working
strong leadership skills and the ability to guide teams through change
a commitment to risk-positive, strengths-based practice
curiosity and openness to innovative approaches

The team
Our Learning Disability and Autism North Team is a passionate, supportive group that embraces a strengths-based approach, guided by the Signs of Safety and Wellbeing model. We empower individuals by building on their strengths and helping them achieve their goals.
The team includes a Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, Social Workers, and Senior Independence and Wellbeing Practitioners. We operate a hybrid working model, offering flexibility between home and office-based work.
