Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated team manager for our NEW U10 Sunday league team. The ideal person will have a strong background in coaching football and a commitment to educating young athletes in the fundamentals of football. This role is essential in developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and instilling a love for the game.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training sessions that enhance players' skills and understanding of football. Conduct weekly practice sessions, focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Organise and lead competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship principles. Foster a positive team environment that promotes respect, discipline, and enjoyment of the sport. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding player development and team goals. Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and football trends to enhance training effectiveness.

Requirements

Proven experience in coaching football - minimum 2 years. Must have UEFA C or FA Level 1. Strong ability to educate players on techniques, strategies, and the importance of teamwork. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback. A passion for football and a desire to inspire young athletes. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for training and matches.
