We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our Team at Yo sushi inside Tesco Altrincham . As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about the culinary arts.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Assist customers providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and display fridge , adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Support the team by helping with various kitchen tasks as needed, contributing to a positive work environment.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of culinary practices. Strong upselling abilities to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Knowledge of food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Previous experience making sushi or in a kitchen/restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn!

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
