Duties

Assist in food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience. Work efficiently as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet service demands during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Support colleagues by helping with various tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills, with an ability to follow recipes and prepare food items efficiently. Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and processing orders accurately. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and contribute to team success.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.50-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
