Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic coffe shop team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, from food preparation to serving customers, all while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items / orders Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience andincrease sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling. Monitor food safety practices throughout the preparation and serving process. Participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and enhance overall performance.

Requirements

Previous coffee shop / restaurant experience is essential (a minimum of 1 year) Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable. Basic culinary skills, including food preparation techniques, are advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
