Duties

Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service. Manage time effectively to meet service demands during busy periods. Follow culinary guidelines to prepare dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is preferred. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent customer service is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18,315.00-27,384.09 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
