We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team at Selfridges Wing fest .This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Prior experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas Take customer orders accurately, ensuring prompt and friendly service Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining a professional approach Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems efficiently Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment

Skills

Experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary roles is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts Strong communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Upselling skills to enhance customer experience and maximise sales potential

Pay: 12.21-14.09 per hour
