Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored.
Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in food preparation or serving roles.
Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food safety standards.
Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
