Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order processing. Provide assistance to customers by answering queries about menu items and dietary options. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations. Strong time management skills are essential for handling multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills are necessary for processing orders and managing payments accurately. A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is vital for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
