Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including taking orders and upselling menu items effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours, demonstrating strong time management skills. Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including basic maths for order processing and inventory management. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by helping colleagues and fostering a cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage; training will be provided for those new to the industry. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members alike. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
