Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet service demands while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders. A positive attitude towards upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
