Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and delivering meals promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations Support with basic kitchen tasks such as ingredient handling, plating, and portion control Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive working environment and excellent customer service

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is preferred but not mandatory; a genuine interest in culinary arts is essential Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage positively with guests and team members Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends may be beneficial but not mandatory
