You will help form part of the front of house, as well as the kitchen team when required. You will be responsible for various tasks within the restaurant, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and answering any questions regarding the menu. Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and ensuring all food is stored correctly. Assist in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised at all times. Demonstrate basic math skills to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic culinary skills are beneficial for effective performance in this role. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
