Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team at our Diss Shop.

As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. This position requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Opening and closing of the shop. Food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the preparation and customer areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Perform basic maths for cash handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or kitchen setting. Ability to up sell menu items, enhancing customer experience and increasing sales. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food safety practices. Excellent interpersonal skills to assist customers and work collaboratively with colleagues. Proficient in basic maths for accurate order taking and cash handling.
The hours are

Thursday 07:00-15:15

Friday 07:00-15:15

Saturday - On a rotating rota working 1 in 4 shifts start 07:00 until 15:15

You will also be required to help cover holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
