Duties

Assist with food preparation, including assembling ingredients and preparing dishes according to recipes and standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations Manage multiple tasks effectively, including taking orders, serving food, and handling payments using basic maths skills Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a collaborative approach

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is advantageous Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is preferred but not mandatory Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are essential Enthusiasm for learning new skills and advancing within the hospitality industry
