As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the restaurant operation, from food preparation to assisting customers, all while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, demonstrating effective time management.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on food safety protocols and culinary techniques.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in assisting others.
