Store & Property Assistant (4 ish Days/Week)

Location: Based at 38 Houston Street, Glasgow, with additional work at properties around Glasgow

Hours: 4-5 days per week, including some weekends; typical shift: 09:00 - 17:00

Contract: Part?time / Flexible

Pay: 13 per hour + commission on in?store sales after a 2?month period

Driver: Driving licence preferred (travel between sites required)

About the Role

We're looking for a hands?on, reliable person to join our team as a Store & Property Assistant. This is a varied role that combines customer service and sales in our Glasgow Bed Centre showroom with general maintenance and cleaning tasks across local properties. You'll split your time between assisting customers in?store and helping to prepare, clean, and maintain properties for landlords around Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

Serving customers, handling sales and managing the showroom at 38 Houston Street

Keeping the showroom clean, tidy and well?presented

Painting, basic touch?ups and light maintenance work

Carpet cleaning, rubbish removal and flat clear?outs

Grass cutting and simple garden tidying

Moving and arranging furniture or stock when required

Following health & safety guidelines and maintaining work quality standards

About You

Good attention to detail and takes pride in a job well done

Friendly, polite and confident speaking to customers

Reliable, practical and comfortable working independently

Physically able to lift and move furniture or equipment safely

Driver preferred (but roles also available for non?drivers)

No experience required - full training provided (please list any relevant experience in your application)

Working Pattern

4 days per week, including weekends

Typical hours: 09:00 - 17:00

Work split between the showroom (38 Houston Street) and properties around Glasgow

Pay & Benefits
