Duties

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and hygienically. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and upselling menu items effectively. Support team members during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all operational procedures. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a kitchen environment. Ability to upsell menu items through effective communication and customer engagement. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to help others and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
