Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic cafe/restaurant team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a smooth operation in the kitchen and dining area. You will be responsible for various tasks, including table service, assisting customers, coffee preparation and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests with their orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of menu offerings.

Skills

Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous but not essential. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team atmosphere. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial. Understanding of food safety standards to maintain high hygiene levels in the kitchen.
