Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Engage in upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours. Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, including washing dishes and maintaining equipment. Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated shifts while maintaining quality service.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks in a busy environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and work as part of a team.

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour
