Role Overview:

As a Customer Assistant and Dessert Specialist, you'll be the face of our shop, delighting customers with your exceptional service while showcasing your talent in crafting mouthwatering desserts, milkshakes, and mocktails. You'll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile and a satisfied sweet tooth.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing personalised recommendations and answering inquiries about our menu offerings. Prepare and serve a variety of delicious desserts, including cakes, pastries, and ice cream creations, with meticulous attention to presentation and quality. Whip upirresistible milkshakes and mocktails, combining flavours and ingredients to create unforgettable beverages that keep customers coming back for more. Assist in kitchen operations, including dessert preparation, assembly, and packaging, while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitised and ready for use at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and cooperation.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required; we're willing to train individuals with a passion for desserts and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. Creativity and attention to detail are essential, especially when it comes to dessert preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support our shop's operational hours.
