As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our Cafe, from food preparation to serving. This position requires a proactive attitude, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to food safety.

Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Serve customers with a friendly demeanour, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of menu offerings.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is an advantage. Understanding of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to engage with customers positively, showcasing upselling techniques effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are beneficial.
