We are looking for a dedicated and energetic

Team Member

to join our station and convenience store team. Alongside providing excellent customer service, you'll also support our bakery and food-to-go offer, ensuring fresh, high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, friendly approach. Assist customers with bakery, fuel and in-store purchases. Safely and accurately operate fuel pumps, following all protocols. Prepare, bake, and cook food-to-go items to a high standard. Ensure bakery products are always fresh, attractively displayed, and fully stocked. Follow food preparation guidelines, including portion control and allergen management. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene at all times. Keep the forecourt, store, and food prep areas clean, organised, and inviting. Handle cash and transactions with accuracy and integrity. Restock shelves, monitor inventory, and support stock ordering. Merchandise displays effectively to drive sales. Promote special offers and upsell products. Support the manager in motivating, training, and guiding the team. Work collaboratively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Requirements

Must be 18+ due to role responsibilities. Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability (mornings, weekends, and holidays preferred). Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong customer focus. Willingness to learn and follow bakery and cooking procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in bakery, food preparation, or retail sales (management experience a plus). Knowledge of baking, cooking, and safe food handling practices. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette. Leadership skills with the ability to step up when needed. Basic administrative skills (paperwork, reporting). Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
