Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is an advantage. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
