The role includes a variety of tasks day-to-day in all aspects of the centre. These include but are not limited to:
Customer Service-
Checking customers in and dealing with bookings as well as letting them know about our current deals and promotions.
Cafe-
Food Preparation, making Barista style Coffee and Food Service.
Climbing Coaching-
(all training will be provided) Varying from Introductions to climbing with adults and families, working with childrens groups (aged 5-17) during our regular kids' clubs and external groups e.g. scouts and schools.
DBS check is required.
Safety and Operations-
Opening and closing checklists, and hourly safety walks of the centre.
First Aid
- (training can be provided).
Cleaning-
Keeping the centre clean and tidy bycompleting a cleaning rota during desk shifts. Plus, hoovering/deep cleaning shifts before the centre opens.
Schedule:
The shift patterns will vary week to week including day times, evenings, and weekends.
The centre opening hours are:
Weekdays 12pm-10pm
Weekends 9am-7pm
Hours may vary for the following:
School holidays 10am-10pm
Bank Holidays 9am-8pm
Experience Necessary:
1 year customer service/hospitality/leisure experience.
