Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety standards Assist with the preparation of ingredients and menu items Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Engage with customers to provide excellent service and upsell menu items Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices is essential Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management Strong upselling abilities to enhance customer experience and increase sales Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting A helpful attitude towards both customers and colleagues, fostering a positive team environment Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
