Overview

Here at My Hiro, we are looking for the creme of the crop to join our team at the frontier of making food affordable again. We are in the early stages of expansion so expect hard times, gritty work and flexible (slightly chaotic) hours.

We want someone who has ambition and passion for food, customer service and making the best in any situation. Someone who is flexible and can cover hours, cares about making things better and the ability to work under pressure.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly and attentive approach Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality

Requirements

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team setting A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role Driven and independent, we need team members who can think for themselves and engage without constant coaching

Pay: From 14.08 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
