Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, food preparation and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages & menu items, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your role will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality beverages & menu items according to standard recipes. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented well. Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Help customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Follow food safety guidelines to guarantee the safety and quality of all products served. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a barista or hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. A keen understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A willingness to learn about different coffee varieties and preparation techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
