We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic Fish & Chip Shop team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring that food preparation and safety standards are met. Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and serving. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food safety protocols. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Need to be 18 or over as some equipment will require adult person to operate. Need to be able to lift 25 kg bag of potatoes to chest height as required to make chips.
