Umami Fresh Burger is an exciting new addition to the local dining scene, offering quality gourmet burgers made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and possess a keen interest in food preparation and culinary arts. Responsibilities

:

Follow opening and closing procedures to ensure the shop runs smoothly throughout the day. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Support the team with basic cooking tasks and food presentation Handle transactions accurately using the POS system, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant during shifts Contribute positively to team morale and workplace culture

Experience

:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of food safety standards and basic culinary techniques is advantageous Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to lean Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
