Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Assist in serving customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper handling procedures. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including order taking, food assembly, and cleaning duties. Support the team during busy periods by upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts. Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Skills

Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Basic maths skills for handling orders, bills, and inventory management. Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximise sales opportunities.
