Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering queries, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and food delivery. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and cash handling as required. Support fellow team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the workplace culture. Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards customers and colleagues. A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within the culinary field.
