face of Greggs

, greeting customers, working tills, serving behind the hot counter, and preparing fresh food (sandwiches, pastries, bakes) to high standards. Handle tasks like managing ovens, restocking, and keeping the shop clean and inviting. Training is fully provided--no prior retail or food experience required.

Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive atmosphere. Assist in supervising daily activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. Analyse customer feedback and contribute ideas for improving service quality. Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable

Skills

Excellent organisational skills, allowing for efficient task management in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
