Job Summary

As a Team Member, for Pond Walk Bistro, a local coffee shop, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks within the coffee shop, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service will contribute to the overall success of our team.

Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards Serve customers with a friendly and attentive approach Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated shifts

Qualifications

Previous coffee shop experience is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is an advantage Familiarity with food safety guidelines and practices Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
