TEAM MEMBER

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our vibrant team at Little Dessert Shop. As a Team Member, you will be on the front lines, interacting with customers, preparing delicious desserts, and ensuring that our shop maintains its warm and inviting atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience. Product Preparation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of desserts, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dessert display, customer areas, and kitchen, in compliance with health and safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members and assist in training new employees when needed. Sales Support: Process transactions smoothly and efficiently using the cash register, handling cash and credit card payments responsibly. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory stock checks and help restock items as needed to ensure product availability. Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order processing. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer experience. A genuine passion for helping others and providing outstanding service. Must be available to work weekdays daytime and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 6.40-12.21 per hour
