Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained Assist with food safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of ingredients Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks to ensure smooth service flow Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and providing recommendations where appropriate Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations will be beneficial Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and portioning ingredients Familiarity with upselling techniques and time management skills will support success in this role A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for delivering excellent service
