Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Serve customers with a friendly attitude, providing information about menu items and upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic culinary skills is advantageous. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are required. Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting. Experience in serving customers and providing excellent customer service will be beneficial.
